Jason Isbell will release his third solo album, Here We Rest, with his band the 400 Unit on April 12th.  Isbell’s new song, “We’ve Met,” showed up online about a year ago and absolutely killed me the first time I heard it.  If it’s any indication of what’s to come, Here We Rest may very well turn out to be Jason Isbell’s best work yet.
